About: About

Pittsburgh Buckets Basketball was founded in February 2016 by Justin Walther. Walther, a native of Munhall, wanted to grow a youth basketball program that would benefit the girls and boys of the Pittsburgh area. The goal was to create a structured atmosphere where boys and girls could come and fine tune their skills. Pittsburgh Buckets, in 2023, has 12 teams and 108 players. Two of those teams qualified and played in the World Championships in Orlando, Fl.
